“Blue” Municipalities Network

In 2021, Aegean Rebreath created the “Blue” Municipalities Network, based on the memoranda of cooperation with the Municipalities that had installed Marine Litter Collection Stations. It is about a unique endeavor on both national and European levels, since it involves representatives from civil society, local government, central administration and other research and educational institutions. Currently, the Network consists of 21 members (19 municipalities and 2 port funds) throughout Greece, it operates as a Civil Non-Profit Company and is coordinated by our organization.
