Looking forward to finding out what we jointly accomplished in 2019? Our most important achievement is that we are entering the new decade stronger to meet the demanding environmental challenges! The network of Aegean Rebreath expanded by 80% compared to our first steps in 2017, we launched the first, innovative network of marine litter collection stations in 7 Greek islands and significantly increased the amount of litter we collect through underwater and coastal initiatives. Furthermore, we have done great job at gathering marine litter data! The collected material, once sorted and recorded, is sent for recycling and reuse through the local recycling networks and partner organizations.
