We were more than happy to welcome new volunteer divers during the initiative we organized in Legraina, Athens. where we carried out an underwater clean up. Most important we had the opportunity to present our work and our methodology and answer the questions of the participants.
With this initiative we also achieved one of our main goals concerning the active engagement of new volunteers, since during the summer we organized an underwater, a coastal and a face to face meeting with people who expressed interest in participating in our activities.
Such meetings are quite important for our organization since up to now we keep integrating a high number of new volunteers to our core activities upon the necessary training.
Therefore, we hope that despite the continuous and heavy schedule up to the end of the year, we will be able to organize another similar round of actions for our new volunteers in October.
