Back to Nisiros one year after!

We returned to the beautiful island of Nisyros exactly one year after. Our dear friends from Nisiros were waiting for us, with tremendous preparations in place while they had also mobilized a large number of residents, for the two days of the actions.
We dived together with the divers from the Volcano Bubbles Diving School at Pergoussa and Giali and in the port of Palos, where we discovered with great joy that the volume of waste was much less than what we saw during our cleaning last year. Finally an optimistic message from the bottom of a port that receives many visitors during the summer months. We also managed to clean the two beautiful beaches of Giali that receive the north currents of the Aegean and all the litter that travels with them.
We talked and collaborated with municipal and port bodies, residents and locals and enjoyed the unique hospitality they had prepared for us. Thank you all for these wonderful two days of action and, especially, Nisyrio which is now an important companion in our efforts for clean seas!
