New destination and rough seas

The last time we found ourselves in the Peloponnese for underwater activities in 2017. So, four years later we could not resist the proposal of the “Captain Vassilis and Carmen Konstantakopoulos” Foundation for the implementation of a new operation in the region of Messinia. An initiative that would include multifaceted interventions.

The first intervention was implemented in the area of ​​Methoni, following information from local agencies, about reefs being swamped with ghost nets. Our diving team, unfortunately, confirmed this information and saw a huge problem. Despite the bad weather, the mission was successful and a large volume of nets was pulled out, while we found that the problem was bigger than we could have ever expected. Our first intervention has been completed and we are now preparing for our second intervention in the area of ​​Kalamata.
