Are we really ready to eliminate single use plastics? Are bar and restaurants owners and employees well informed? What are the problems, the proposals and the role of key stakeholders? Well, we are now able to submit useful conclusions and suggestions following a closed meeting we organized together with 360 Cocktailbar Restaurant, with the aim of eliminating single use plastics in Monastiraki square in Athens. We had the opportunity to discuss with the Athens Municipal Authorities (Vice – Mayor for Waste Management, Mr. Avramidis & President of the Development Agency Ms. Daskalaki) and restaurant owners, receive constructive feedback and agree on working together for a “Monastiraki square without single use plastics”. 360 Cocktailbar Restaurant has already given the example!
